This Program is A Remote Administion Tool. ;-)

RemoteControl Is Used to Control the hosts and Systempatch is the server



Features

From The 10/10/98 DT has the following Features :

1.\ Ejecting And Closing The CD-ROM Drive - Ummmmmmmmm it unscrews the CD-ROM and Ejects it across the room, Honest

2.\ Msg Box Manager- you can choose all the different types of dialog boxs to send to the host and i you want them to reply.

3.\ Hide\Show Startbar - Really Funny When Used On PPL Who Know Nothing)

4.\ FTP Server - Starts a FTP Server. Which Allows you too upload/download load files from the host (FTP CLIENT NEEDED)

5.\ Capture Screen - Captures the screen to a Jpeg around 80Kb and sends it to you. When it is fully Downloaded RemoteControl displays the JPG with your computers JPG image viewer probably Internet Explorer Or Netscape

6.\ Send To URL - Sends Host to A Url Of Your Choice

7.\ Turn Monitor On/Off - This sends the hosts monitor to Powersave mode and it can only be turned back on by you!!

8.\ Get Passwords - Bit obvious dont ya think

9.\ Spawn Prog - (I Sugest using this along with the FTP server) Executes a Program or opens the file with the assoiated program on the host computer.

10.\ Spawn Prog Invis - Runs a program invisibly

11.\ Reboot - (I inculed this incase it is needed but Please use it wisely Don't be a Lamer!!!!)

12.\ Scanner - This is used to scan for Hosts with DT server running or to scan a sweeplist of hosts

13.\ Ping Host - Sends a packet to see in host is Running the Server

14.\ Host System info - Gets the system information

15.\ Swap mouse buttons - Well duh what do you think

16.\ Freeze Mouse - Sends the mouse to the top left hand corner of the screen and keeps it there

17.\ Hide desktop icons

18.\ Hide start button

19.\ Hide clock

20.\ Hide the system tray

21.\ List windows - Lists all the active and visible windows on the host

22.\ Kill window - Used with list windows, use the window id to close the window of your choose (But it does not work on - Internet Explorer or Explorer.

23.\ Password server - passwords the host so only people that know the password can use it

24.\ Change server password - If you have identifyed with the host using the current password you can change it.

25.\ Remove server password - removes the server password protection

26.\ Send Password to server - Sends a password to server to give you access to it

27.\ Wallpaper - lets you change the hosts wallpaper to the one of your choice

28.\ Delete file

29.\ Show picture - shows a picture of you choice fullscreen on the client

30.\ Ftp port - lets you change the ftp port

31.\ Online Icq Alert - This sends the  icq page (With it's new ip) to a Uin you give when the servers go online with a new ip

32.\ Kill the server - This closes the server (Doesn't shut the computer down)

33.\ Create Dir - creates a directory on the host Computer

34.\ Play sound - Plays a wav on the host computer

35.\ Extra Irc Scanner Feature - To let Irc Scanners scan for it DT leaves open port 6670 (Tcp)

36.\ Subnet scanner and a sweeplist scanner - Scans for hosts that are running the server

To use the FTP server you will need a FTP Client Like Cute FTP or WS_FTP, This allows you to Upload and download files from the server (Any Client Should Work)

N.B. The Dt v2 client will work with DTv1 servers. But do not use the V1 client at the same time as the v2 or vice versa because only one will receive the replys.

Scanning Tip - The remote control stores the ip addresses of host that reply so you can sweeplist scanner to scan the hosts2.ip file (The file that remote control stores the ips in).  DTv2 servers will also leave port 6670 open so that you can use any other port scanner to detect DT v2
