You can uncheck the "Launch CUseeMe Conferencing Companion when the machine starts.
Especially if you have more than one CU Version you might want to run.

Here you can change your nickname, if you use another nickname on different Reflectors/Video Chat Rooms.

Here you can turn on or off the microphone
Use the Audio Tuning Wizard to fine tune your audio settings
Select and change the record and playback devices
