NOTE:  You can do a registry entry change to make the MOTD come up in a separate box instead of coming up in the chat box.
For those that do know how to change the registry, the registry key for this is:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\White Pine\CU-SeeMe Pro\4.0\Conferencing\Chat\MOTDToChat

Change this entry from "Yes" to "No" and you will get the MOTD in a separate message box in the future.
