Setup Assistant

I have dispensed with some of the steps, those that are standard on ANY install

Lets start here:

Select Componets:

I have UNchecked Conferencing Companion "to NOT start after install"

I have found  that after testing many installs of Pro4, that if I uncheck this option it won't be in start up each time I boot up.

That way I can run another CU SeeMe version without conflicts cause CUCore is not running.

Personal Information:

This is where you enter your own name, nickname, and email address.

If you don't enter a nickname, it defaults to your first name and last name*.



*There's an option in the advanced preferences where you can specify to use the last name first for the user name if no nickname is given.

Directory Services:

This is where you select whether or not to have your presence (online availability) is advertised on an Internet Location Server (ILS)




Next is the Adjust Video section:

This is where you can preview your own video and specify which video input source to use.

As you see this vid needs some adjustments

Click on Device Button  which brings up a menu. 

Click on Source and that brings up your Camera Controls for Color etc.

Click on Format which is for the Stream settings and select 160 x 120

Here is the finished product

In the preferences, this is combined with the video size and quality. 

You have the option of choosing whether or not to automatically send/transmit video at the start of each call.
