Pegasus Imaging Codec   PICVideo Tips

Go and register this codec or you get a banner across your vid...its free and the codes will be emailed to you.  http://www.jpg.com/index.html   This is a limited time offer.  I do not know if it expires.  I will let you know when I find out from their tech support.

Then install the codec with the registration codes.

After hours of testing this codec on White Pine CU-SeeMe and with another person on the Cornell version we have come to the conclusion that setting your Compression to 18 gives optimum movement and does not degrade the video.

The Video Quality setting in White Pine versions (Customize/Config) is not enabled using this codec.  Cornell's is accessible, however when testing it and sliding the bar to 0 (Left) no change in the video quality was noticed.

To set your compression go to:

Control Panel/Multimedia/Advanced/Video compression codecs/PICVideo MJPEG/

Highlight and click on properties, then settings. Its set as a default  half way (10) which is on a scale of 1-20.  Set to 18.  See example below.

Click on Advanced for more info if needed.
