DIAL-UP NETWORKING

"Dial-Up Networking could not negotiate a compatible set of
network protocols you specified in the Server Type settings.
Check your network configuration in the Control Panel then
try the connection again."

 

The protocol used by the Dial-Up Networking client is not available.

1.  Double click on the My Computer Icon

 

                          myputerT.GIF (518 bytes)

 

2.  Double click on the Control Panel Icon

                          ctrlpnlT.GIF (524 bytes)

3.  Double click on the Nework Icon

                         cpnetwrkT.GIF (466 bytes)

 

4.  Under Configuration,  "The following network components are installed:"

     make sure you have Client for Microsoft Networks, Dial-Up Adapter, and TCP/IP.

     If any protocols are missing, add them.
