Troubleshooting

 

 

s23.gif (1284 bytes)     Error message: "Dial-Up Networking could not negotiate a compatible set of network protocols you specified in the Server Type settings. Check your network configuration in the Control Panel then try the connection again." The Dial-Up Networking connection you are trying to use is damaged.     Delete and reinstall a new connection.

or

s23.gif (1284 bytes) The protocol used by the Dial-Up Networking client is not available.

or

s23.gif (1284 bytes)  The Dial-Up Adapter is not bound to the TCP/IP protocol.  Reinstall the TCP/IP protocols

 

s23.gif (1284 bytes)    I get the error  message:  "Your IP address for your local name is unresolved,  add a host entry for your local address" , when starting CU-SeeMe.  What fixes this problem?
